Hinsdale Central Alumni I wanted to extend a personal invitation to the HCHS Foundation Golf Outing at Oakbrook Hills this June 10. Being selected as Chairman for this event by the Foundation I and the Committee have tried to “spice “ it up somewhat from the previous years events. This year the outing will feature a $1,000,000 Hole in One contest and a new 2005 Ford Mustang GT give away for CLOSEST TO THE HOLE! (That’s right, someone is driving this new 2005 Mustang away from the event)
There will also be a silent auction with 10-12 unique items and other interesting experience based auction items. More information on these items will be available shortly. Cost of the event per golfer is $500.00 This includes:
Dinner and Silent Auction tickets cost $100.00 and include the 19th Hole Happy Hour. If you are not a golfer or interested in attending the dinner or auction, but wish to support the effort, we accept donations. For donations of $100 or more, you get listed as a “Friend of the Foundation” in the Program and all “Thank You” advertising as well as listed as a Friend of the Foundation on the Foundation Website and mention in the Foundation Newsletter. All donations are tax deductible and you will get a Foundation generated receipt for your taxes. Proceeds from this event will fund the Foundation sponsored “Project Achieve”, Young Scholars Program and Jodie Harrison teacher grants at Hinsdale Central. Personally, I am truly excited about the prospects of Awarding the 2005 Mustang GT to a Hinsdale Central Alum. (Maximum 144 golfers…so pretty good odds if you can swing a club and make contact) This link will take you directly to the online sign up (you can pay by credit card) You will receive registration confirmation, along with all necessary information via email. Would love to have you there! Glenn Hahn Hinsdale Central Foundation Golf Committee Chairman For more info, check our Golf Outing page
YOUNG SCHOLARS The Young Scholars Program is designed to recognize significant academic achievement among freshman at the end of their first semester.
HALL OF FAME Hall of Fame applications are due May 1. Nomination forms are available here. Hall of Fame Dinner is Sept 23 2005.
AND DON’T FORGET… Hinsdale Central High School seems to get better every year, and we want to keep it that way. Your help is important.
