Look what’s going on at Central!

Good Times

HOMECOMING

Spirit Week energized the school for a victorious football game October 4 against Glenbard West. In traditional fashion, a parade preceded the game and a dance followed that evening in the fieldhouse. A good time was had by all, and alums came out in significant numbers.

BATTLE OF THE BANDS FUNDS SENIOR PROM

Hinsdale Community House provided the backdrop for a lyrical fundraiser in support of the senior class prom. More than 250 people came to the jam session which raised in excess of $1000.

ONE YEAR LATER

Central marked the anniversary of September 11 with an outdoor ceremony surrounding the flagpole at the front entrance to the school. The bright sunny day contrasted with the somber mood of the occasion yet echoed the hopefulness of those in attendance.

MISS AMERICA GRACES CENTRAL

Erika Harold brought her platform dealing with the prevention of bullying and school violence to students during an October visit. She spoke about how a culture and civility and good decision-making are fundamental to disrupting patterns of conflict. The new Miss America’s appearance supported efforts of the Conflict Resolution Team recently formed by interested students.
