Good Times

Prom May 4

More than 600 students attended prom this year, held at the Crystal Garden on Navy Pier in downtown Chicago. Immediately following the dinner and dancing, students boarded the Ugly Duck for a post-prom midnight cruise on Lake Michigan. By all counts, the evening was a great success.

24-Hour Relay Challenge

More than 50 student teams from Central, Hinsdale South and Lyons Township joined to raise money for charity May 18-19. Together they brought in approximately $35,000 to be donated to PADS, the Wellness House of Hinsdale, the Robert A. Rasmussen Scholarship Fund and the Jeffrey Mladenik Scholarship Fund.

Congratulations to the Class of 2002! We wish you all the best of luck. According to statistics published in the year-end edition of The Devils’ Advocate:

32% of seniors surveyed think that the events of September 11 changed life at Central
64% get to attend their first choice college
80% plan to attend their 10-year reunion
96% think that the Red Devil mascot should not be changed.
