National Honor Society
We are proud to announce that 120
Central students were inducted into the National Honor Society during a
ceremony held at school on May 13. Inductees included 105 juniors and 15
seniors. Selection is based on grade point average, student activity
information and faculty ballots. The names of all the honorees are
available from Dean Tim Shimp.
Illinois State Scholars Named
The Illinois Student Assistance
Commission has recognized 155 Central seniors as Illinois State Scholars.
Selection is based on a combination of test scores and class rank at the
end of junior year.
