 2005 Inductee W. B. Martin Gross Field of Distinction: Public Service
W.B.
Martin Gross is a 1954 graduate of Hinsdale Central High School.
Martin then graduated from Amherst College and Harvard Law School.
He has had a distinguished career in both the public and private sectors. A
long time Hinsdale resident, Martin served as President of numerous
organizations: School Board 181, the Village of Hinsdale, King-Bruwaert
Retirement Additionally,
Martin has also been on the Boards of The Hinsdale Community House, Union
Church of Hinsdale, and Glenwood School for Boys, and West Suburban Mass
Transit District.
He has also served as Special Counsel to the Vice President of the
United States. Martin
is a partner in his law firm and also serves as director and attorney for
several large corporations. He has had a distinguished and selfless career
in dedicated public and civic service. Martin
resides in Hinsdale with his wife, Lavinia.
